Composite Floor Decks
Composite floor decks from D-Mac Industries feature a
ribbed profile with embossments designed to interlock with
the concrete slab. This design develops a strong bond with
the concrete and creates a reinforced concrete slab.
Our composite floor decks serve a dual purpose: permanent
form and positive reinforcement. With a cost-conscious designer,
a permanent form eliminates the time and cost of carpenters to
makeand then remove wood forms, plus the cleanup time saved
on lower floors.

During the construction phase, our decks carry the full dead load
of concrete. While shoring may be required on extended spans
while the concrete cures and reaches its maximum strength, the
full live load is still carried by the steel and concrete performing together.
D-MAC
furnishes all profiles of composite floor decks, custom cut or in
stock lengths, with a galvanized finish for rust resistance and
increased longevity.
